Meet the owner
Hi, I'm Lindsey! I started my journey working with dogs back in 2015 when I first adopted my three-legged Australian Shepherd, Mia. Since then, I've worked for various rescues, fostered dogs, foster-failed a time or two, learned to groom, worked in pet grooming shops and am now the proud owner of a mobile grooming business as well as our new storefront in downtown Encinitas. My vision for The Grateful Dog was to create a space where I felt comfortable bringing Mia, who is now thirteen years old and afraid of all things loud and scary. Both the van and our storefront are places that I know she'll be calm, comfortable and come out looking fresh and beautiful. At The Grateful Dog, pets are family and when you use our services, your pet is guaranteed to be treated as if they were our own.
